Madison Lewis, an 11 year old Amesbury 5th Grader, knows the word “cancer” well.
At 4 years old Madison was diagnosed with neuroblastoma a very rare and life threatening form of cancer. After one year of treatment Madison was NED (no evidence of disease). It is now 5 years later and Madison is a happy, healthy child.
Madison knows the importance of Cancer Research. If it was not for research Madison would not be here today. Ten years ago, there was no treatment for neuroblastoma.
Alex’s Lemonade stand was founded by Alex Scott, an 8 year old who lost her battle to neuroblastoma (www.alexslemonade.org). Today her “dream” continues and Alex’s Lemonade Stands are all over the country and have raised over 10 million dollars for pediatric cancer research.
Please join Madison in her goal to find a cure for pediatric cancer!!
