Bidding Information
Please read the Terms and Conditions for each sale before registering to submit an absentee or telephone bid, or to bid in the gallery. Terms and conditions are printed in the catalog, posted in the gallery, and viewable online. You may also call us at (800) 822-1417 to register if you are a regular bidder.
Be sure to request a condition report on any item if you cannot view it in person. Bidding without a condition report results in no return privileges. If you requested and received a condition report prior to bidding, you have limited return privileges as outlined in our Conditions and Terms Policy. You may request a written condition report on any item by contacting us at mcinnisauctions@yahoo.com with the sale date, lot number and a short description, or by calling our galleries at (800) 822-1417. We will fax or mail you a condition report.
In the case of Absentee and Telephone bids, our representatives will bid on your behalf to achieve the lowest possible price. Online absentee bidding is done directly via eBay Live Auctioneer, and requires being a registered eBay user with credit card information on file with eBAY, or passing their Equifax verification process.
All lots are sold “AS IS” and all sales are final. Neither we, nor the consignor are responsible for the accuracy of any printed or verbal descriptions. Absentee bids will be executed when possible as a convenience to our clients. John McInnis Auctioneers will not be held responsible for any errors or failures to execute bids.
Auction currency and bid increments must be in US Dollars, and the bidding limit does not include the buyer’s premium, sales tax and/or shipping costs. In the event of a “tie” absentee bid, the decision will be made in favor of the earliest form received. “Tie” bids with the gallery audience will go to the person present in the Gallery. Bids that do not comply with the proper bid increments will be rounded down to he nearest proper bid increment.
