Dave’s family discovered these items locked away last year as they prepared to sell the family home. In the year of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the family of David F. Powers, best friend and Special Assistant to the president, has engaged our firm to sell at auction his treasured keepsakes and personal files.  Dave traveled with JFK from his political beginnings in 1946 to that tragic day in Dallas in 1963.  He became the first Curator of the JFK Library retiring from that position in 1994.  To be auctioned are the personal items he chose to keep close to himself throughout his lifetime. Powers’ collection encompasses years of history with the Kennedy Family and his White House years. This extraordinary collection features a wealth of period personal affects consisting of over 650 lots including Ephemera, Important Letters, Photography, Documents
 and Gifts of and from the Kennedy Family.

Exhibitions: Saturday, February 9th thru Saturday, February 16th, 1:00-7:00 p.m. Auction day at 8:00 a.m.
Exhibitions will be open to the public

ADMISSION TO AUCTION
Please note auction seating is limited.  Purchase of the printed catalog with color illustrations will provide seating for two (2) on a first come, first served basis. Catalog: $50.00 includes postage paid. A portion of the catalog proceeds to benefit the JFK Library
